As a mark of gratitude to all the generous farmers and landowners who welcome the SSH on their land year after year, go out of their way to move stock on our behalf, unlock gateways, turn off electric fencing, host meets and innumerable other acts of generosity, the Joint Masters offer free passes in the hope it goes a little way to say thank you for all your support, and crucially for enabling the tradition of hunting to continue.  The Joint Master who is responsible for your area will either drop off or send your free pass in the weeks prior to the Point-to-Point.  If for any reason it has not arrived or you have any queries please don’t hesitate to contact your relevant joint master so it can be rectified.
